1 Channel 5V Optocoupler Relay Module for Arduino
The 1 Channel 5V Optocoupler Relay Module is designed for switching a single high-powered device using your Arduino or other microcontrollers. The relay is rated for up to 10A per channel at 250VAC or 30VDC, making it suitable for a wide range of applications. The module features built-in optocoupler isolation that provides enhanced safety by electrically isolating the control (microcontroller) side from the high-power switching side, as well as two LEDs to indicate relay status.
On one side, the relay module has three terminals (COM, NC, and NO) for switching, broken out to screw pin terminals. On the opposite side, there are three signal pins: Ground (GND), VCC (5V), and an input pin (IN) to control the relay. The input pin is active low, meaning the relay is activated when IN is LOW and deactivated when IN is HIGH.
Optocoupler relays increase safety and reliability by preventing high voltages from reaching the microcontroller, making this module ideal for projects requiring robust isolation.
