Overview

This DIY project turns a NodeMCU ESP8266 into a WiFi-controlled 4WD robot car. The board hosts its own web page, so you can drive the car from any phone or laptop on the same WiFi network - no app install needed.

How It Works

2. Tapping a button on the page sends a command to the NodeMCU over WiFi.
3. The NodeMCU signals the L298N motor driver, which powers the four BO motors to move forward, back, left or right.
